I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. I have been sewing and creating needlework projects all of my life, including machine embroidery, needlepoint, knitting, sewing, and quilting. I have a BFA in Graphic Design from Washington University in St. Louis.

 

After graduating from college, I worked as a graphic designer for the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra before moving to New York City to work in the fashion industry as a Merchandiser and Buyer. I worked for major brands such as French lifestyle brand, Lacoste, and Japanese fast-fashion brand, Uniqlo.

I moved back to St. Louis in 2013, and have been working within the embroidery space for the last ten years.

 

In addition to production work, I sell my digital embroidery designs to individuals and small businesses on my e-commerce website Creatively Embroidery.
